The flavor of this coffee is absolutely incredible! It starts with a bright, pleasant acidity, and then right in front of the palate is sweet caramel and butterscotch flavors. It has a very nice floral aftertaste, and when it finally disappears, just begs for another sip! You’ve got to try this one!

12oz of specialty coffee, roasted fresh. This certified Fair Trade and Organic coffee is our Nicaragua Reyna del Cafe offering. These Caturra, Catuai, and Catimor varietals were grown in San Juan del Rio Coco in Madriz, Nicaragua at an altitude of 4700-5200ft and were washed and patio-dried in processing. I roast this maybe a shade past light because, when well-developed, I can preserve the incredible sweet flavors of caramel and butterscotch. I’ll roast this bean with a ton of high heat in the beginning, since it’s such a dense bean. I’ll back off quite a bit through the rest of the roast to ensure that I slowly develop the interior of the bean. The end result is simply an exceptional coffee with sensational aroma!
